Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al‑Saduq narrated that his father narrated from Sa'd ibn Abd Allah, from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isa, from al‑Hasan ibn Ali, from Aban ibn Uthman, from al‑Ala ibn Sayabah, from Imam Sadiq (pbuh), who said:
When Noah (peace be upon him) descended from the Ark, Iblis (Satan) came to him and said:
“There is no man on earth greater against me than you. You supplicated to Allah against those immoral people, and you relieved me of them.
Shall I not teach you two qualities?
Beware of envy, for it is what caused what happened to me;
and beware of greed, for it is what caused what happened to Adam.
